THE SOCIETY
Wellington Local History and Museum Society is a registered charity run by a small team of dedicated volunteers and funded by membership subscriptions, donations, events and the sale of books, leaflets and souvenirs.
Our Work
Wellington Local History & Museum Society aims to promote knowlege about the history of this small Somerset town by organising talks and visits, running the Museum and publishing books on local topics.
In addition to its own events the Society hosts visits from schools and local community groups in the Museum and has a busy outreach programme presenting to local organisations.
