The curtain came down on a successful season for Wellington Museum with a theatrical performance staged by Somerset Youth Theatre in conjunction with Wellington Local History & Museum Society and with the kind permission of Wellington Town Council.
Join us this September as we mark the 200th anniversary of the first steam-powered passenger railway journey [pictured] & celebrate Wellington’s rich railway heritage, including a world speed record set on Wellington Bank.
