Mike Crewe will give a talk on this occasion which was held during the summer 170 years ago. Held in Hyde Park, London, it was the first in a series of World Fairs, exhibitions of culture and industry that became popular in the 19th Century..

Join us for our annual Late Summer Guided Urban Ramble. This year's walk takes place around Rockwell Green on 26 August. Starts at 7pm prompt at Wellington Cemetery Gates. It will cover a mile and a bit in an hour and a bit. £3 for all participants (pay on day)
