The honour will be celebrated with a parade through the town and a family fun day
The Rifles will be awarded the Freedom of Wellington on 17 June to mark the regiment’s role in helping the Duke of Wellington & allied-forces defeat Napoleon. The honour will be marked with a parade through the town and a family fun day at the recreation ground.
