THE MUSEUM
Wellington Local History & Museum Society run this small family-friendly museum located in the centre of town.
The museum's collection chronicles the town's rich history – including its links to the Duke of Wellington; the development of, what was once, the South West’s biggest woollen mill; the transformation of the townscape, and, how Wellington was home to the last provincial bank in England and Wales to issue its own banknotes.
